Since 1996 gminas (local communities) have been entrusted execution of specific tasks in the area of prevention and resolving alcohol related problems by virtue of the Act on Upbringing in Sobriety and Countering Alcoholism, which also indicated as source of financing the fees that gminas may charge and collect for permits and licences to sell alcoholic beverages. |
